Reviewed in honest-to-goodness-SCIENCE-magazine

Have read science magazines for years, and love the odd esoteric and sometimes random bits of news.  New Scientist writer Jonathan Keats just wrote a review in the Mar 19 magazine, and they just posted it on their blog....so it's easy to click and read (with registering or buying a subscription....which is still a good idea).

Neural rhythms - symbiosis of visual pattern and internal neural pattern....

Just (almost)  finished installing the first 360 degree piece that surrounds all four walls at Box13 in Houston.  Something I've wanted to do for a long-while, with the hopes of evaluating the viewer response to having the full visual surround experience.  Will the visual pattern that attempts to match the neural rhythm of the mind create visual calm and comfort?  On the hunt for one of those finger heart rate monitors to test the theory.

Art-talk on Saturday with Laurie Frick and Stephen Nowlin, Feb 26 at 4pm

Art talk at Edward Cella on Saturday, Feb 26 at 4pm....we'll talk about self-tracking, neuroscience, art and probably something else unexpected.  He's an amazing curator with a human feel for science.  Very unusual. And to spice this post up, adding an image of the installation built in the gallery.
